Who better embodies the sleazy to the sublime, the ethereal to the explicit, the beautifully obscene and the obscenely beautiful, than Lilith. ⠀⠀⠀
Lilith was once known as a Sumerian fertility goddess, until demonized by religion. ⠀⠀⠀
Lilith was equal to the masculine dominating aspects of Adam.⠀⠀⠀
She would not submit to Adam, and was shunned and replaced by the more subservient model Eve. ⠀⠀⠀
Lilith 'Woman of the Night’, the seductress representing all the worldly pleasures, is said to lead man to materialism, which ultimately leads to carnal or animal consciousness.⠀⠀⠀
Lilith’s power of covetousness is perpetrated through physical, mental and economic control. ⠀⠀⠀
It is also the desire to be in control by the means of monopolization of human resources. ⠀⠀⠀
Slavery, through addiction by a materialistic, economic or psychological dependency.⠀⠀⠀
Her kiss of death, the succubus myth, kills men bases upon the idea of “too much life/too much pleasure”⠀⠀⠀
Her tears brought life, but her kiss brought death.⠀⠀⠀
There are two ways the feminine can choose to embody her power,⠀⠀⠀
The veil of materialism is lifting.⠀⠀⠀
A depiction of the many faced goddess, creator and consumer.⠀⠀
